| N2FL: At what age did you start playing football? |
| D.F.: I started playing rec. football when I was 5. |
| N2FL: When and who was your first scholarship offer? |
| D.F.: I was offered by Oklahoma at the beginning of my junior year. |
| N2FL: How many scholarship offers do you currently have? |
| D.F.: I have four scholarship offers: Oklahoma, Stanford, Wake Forest and Ole Miss. |
| N2FL: What was your favorite college team growing up? |
| D.F.: I was a huge Alabama fan growing up. |
| N2FL: Favorite NFL Team? |
| D.F.: I love the Atlanta Falcons. |
| N2FL: Do you try and idolize any specific player? |
| D.F.: I don't really idolize any players but I love Brian Urlacher and Mike Vick. |
| N2FL: Any particular reason for the jersey number? |
| D.F.: My jersey number was a spurt of the moment decision. To me it was just a number. |
| N2FL: You committed to Oklahoma in December, why did you decide to end the process so early? |
| D.F.: I felt like playing at Oklahoma would give me my best chance to succeed and I really like the coaching staff at OU. |
| N2FL: What position would you prefer to play in college? Who is recruiting you to play where? |
| D.F.: I don't care what I play in college as long as I get a fair shot at playing time. I just want to play and I will do whatever it takes to get on that field. |
| N2FL: Are there any schools who continue to recruit you despite your commitment? |
| D.F.: There are still many schools that recruit me. |
| N2FL: Who was your lead recruiter at Oklahoma? |
| D.F.: Coach (Brent) Venables was my lead recruiter. |
| N2FL: Was there another school(s) in consideration before you pulled the trigger on the Sooners, and what was it about Oklahoma that ultimately sold you on them? |
| D.F.: I wasn't really considering anyone, but after my unofficial visit I had to commit. |
| N2FL: What are some things you would like to work on between now and college? |
| D.F.: I need to get better at every aspect of the game if I am going to compete at the level that I want to compete at when I get to OU. |
| N2FL: How do you feel about Redshirting? |
| D.F.: I don't want to redshirt. |
| N2FL: What are your goals for your senior season? |
| D.F.: I want to have over a hundred and twenty tackles and I want my team to go to the dome. |
| N2FL: What is the craziest recruiting "pitch" you have heard so far? |
| D.F.: The craziest pitch I ever got was for the cool people I would meet and the hot women. |
| N2FL: Have you communicated with any prospective recruits about attending Oklahoma with you? |
| D.F.: I haven't really communicated with any of the Oklahoma recruits. |
| N2FL: Who has been the biggest influence in your life? |
| D.F.: The most influential people in my life are my friends. I would do almost anything for them. |
