N2FL:  At what age did you start playing football?
 
D.P.:  Age 5.
 
N2FL:  When and who was your first scholarship offer?
 
D.P.:  From Illinois on March 4, 2007
 
N2FL:  How many scholarship offers do you currently have?
 
D.P.:  8
 
N2FL:  What was your favorite college team growing up?
 
D.P.:  Miami Hurricanes
 
N2FL:  Favorite NFL Team?
 
D.P.:  Bengals
 
N2FL:  Do you try and idolize any specific player?
 
D.P.:  Chad Johnson
 
N2FL:  You committed to Kansas in June, why did you decide to end the process so early?
 
D.P.:  I felt it was a real good fit for me...and I really like my chances at KU.
 
N2FL:  What were some of the considerations when choosing your school?
 
D.P.:  My playing time, what position, education, and just liking the coaches and players.
 
N2FL:  What position would you prefer to play in college?
 
D.P.:  I want to play the slot receiver and kickoff and punt return.
 
N2FL:  Are there any schools who continue to recruit you despite your commitment?
 
D.P.:  Not really I still get mail but nothing big.
 
N2FL:  Who was your lead recruiter at Kansas?
 
D.P.: Clint Bowen
 
N2FL:  Despite your pledge to the Jayhawks, will you take any "official visits" anywhere else?
 
D.P.:  No
 
N2FL:  Was there another school(s) in consideration before you pulled the trigger on the Jayhawks, and what was it about Kansas that ultimately sold you on them?
 
D.P.:  There were a few schools but I felt I have a great chance to do something big at KU. I felt they were very up and coming and have a great coach. I loved how interested in me they were.
 
N2FL:  What are some of your playing strengths?
 
D.P.:  Field smarts and field awareness. Then my speed, quickness, catching, and precise route running.
 
N2FL:  What are some things you would like to work on between now and college?
 
D.P.:  My size and blocking.
 
N2FL:  How do you feel about Redshirting?
 
D.P.:  I feel it can be very helpful for players. I wouldn't mind redshirting.
 
N2FL:  Do you have a major in mind?
 
D.P.:  Sports Medicine
 
N2FL:  What are your goals for your senior season?
 
D.P.:  To be a leader for the team, have a breakout year, and go to state.
 
N2FL:  What is the craziest recruiting "pitch" you have heard so far?
 
D.P.:  I didn't hear too many crazy things, they were all pretty straight forward.
 
N2FL:  Have you communicated with any prospective recruits about attending Kansas with you?
 
D.P.:  I have spoken with a few players and shared some thoughts about different things.
