N2FL:  At what age did you start playing football?
 
J.L.:  I was 7 yrs old.
 
N2FL:  What was your favorite college team growing up?
 
J.L.:  Miami Hurricanes
 
N2FL:  Favorite NFL Team?
 
J.L.:  Atlanta Falcons
 
N2FL:  Do you try and idolize any specific player?
 
J.L.:  No not really, I try to just be myself.
 
N2FL:  Any particular reason for the jersey number?
 
J.L.:  (#56) I like the number. My cousin who plays for the Raiders (Derrick Burgess) also has it.
 
N2FL:  When and who was your first scholarship offer?
 
J.L.:  My first offer was from Maryland back in March.
 
N2FL:  Is there a school that hasn't offered you that you would like to see do so?
 
J.L.:  Not any specific school at the moment.
 
N2FL:  What are some of the considerations you have when deciding between schools?
 
J.L.:  playing time, team chemistry, good coaching, tradition, somewhere I can see myself becoming a better person and athlete.
 
N2FL:  Who are the schools currently on your list for consideration? Any leader(s)?
 
J.L.:  Maryland, Michigan State, Purdue, Wake Forest, Rutgers, South Florida, Boston College, Pitt.
 
N2FL:  Who is currently recruiting you the hardest?
 
J.L.:  Maryland
 
N2FL:  What position would you prefer to play in college? Who is recruiting you to play where?
 
J.L.:  It doesn't matter what position I play as long as I can produce for my team.
 
N2FL:  Have you thought about who you might want to "officially visit"?
 
J.L.:  No not yet still going thru it.
 
N2FL:  What are some of your playing strengths?
 
J.L.:  Athletic, strong, quick off the ball and I have good feet.
 
N2FL:  What are some things you would like to work on between now and college?
 
J.L.:  My whole game. I feel that there is always room for improvement.
 
N2FL:  How do you feel about Redshirting?
 
J.L.:  I think its a good idea because it gives you a chance to figure out the system.
 
N2FL:  Do you have a major in mind?
 
J.L.:  Most likely in the business field.
 
N2FL:  What are your goals for your senior season?
 
J.L.:  To win the state championship, get a scholarship, all awards possible, All-American.
 
N2FL:  What is the craziest recruiting "pitch" you have heard so far?
 
J.L.:  Someone told me that they would try to make me lose about 20-30 pounds and put me at linebacker. I forget who said it.
 
N2FL:  Do you have a time frame as to when you would like to commit?
 
J.L.:  No not yet.
 
N2FL:  Have you communicated with any prospective recruits about attending the same school?
 
J.L.:  Me and a couple of my teammates so far.
 
N2FL:  Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
 
J.L.:  My mom and grandmother because they are always there for me when I need them.
