N2FL:  At what age did you start playing football?

N.B:  I started playing football when I was in fifth grade, so probably 10 or 11.

N2FL:  When and who was your first scholarship offer?

N.B:  My first offer was from Texas, probably late January, early February.

N2FL:  What was your favorite college team growing up?

N.B:  Since my dad coached at North Carolina, which I was born there and lived there until I was 8. I would say them but then when he moved and coached at Texas it quickly became Texas.

N2FL:  Favorite NFL Team?

N.B:  My favorite NFL team would probably have to be the Ravens because of their defense, which has Ed Reed and Ray Lewis, two of some of my favorite players to watch.

N2FL:  Do you try and idolize any specific player?

N.B:  Everyone says I play and look like a John Lynch and I definitely agree with that, but when I'm on the field I try to play like Sean Taylor.

N2FL:  Any particular reason for the jersey number?

N.B:  Yeah I wear number five because it was passed down to me from an upper classman who told me you can only have this number if you keep it in the D1, meaning just about everyone before who has worn number 5 at my school has gone D1.

N2FL:  You officially committed to Texas on March 19th, why did you decide to end the process so early?

N.B:  I decided to commit so early because I just felt so comfortable with Texas and knew ever since my dad coached there that I wanted to play there, so getting the offer from them was like a dream come true and had to go with them.

N2FL:  Did the fact your father was a UT assistant under Mack Brown effect your decision?

N.B:  Absolutely, I've known coach Brown since I was born because of my dad coaching with him in Carolina, so I just felt really comfortable with him and other people on the staff that I've known for so long as well. So I just know coach Brown and how he's really like, which is a great coach and a great guy too who really cares about his players.

N2FL:  Was there another school(s) in consideration before your verbal and what was it about Texas that sold you on them in the end?

N.B:  It came down to USC, Florida and Texas. I picked Texas because I loved the city of Austin. Its a great school and they are always competing for a national championship and it was a dream of mine to go there since I was young so to me it was a no brainer.

N2FL:  Who was the lead coach in your recruitment?

N.B:  Coach (Greg) Davis the offensive cord. was the lead recruiter.

N2FL:  Are there any schools still recruiting you despite your commitment to Texas?

N.B:  I still have Colorado really wanting me to come to their school and I still hear form Oregon, and Nebraska but its died down a lot.

N2FL:  What are some of your playing strengths?

N.B:  I feel like I know and understand the game very well since I've been around it my whole life, I also play with great intensity and toughness. love to come up and hit people.

N2FL:  What are some things you would like to work on between now and college?

N.B:  I know the next level is going to be very fast so I'm definitely going to increase my speed. Also my footwork; talking with my db coach he said that's what separates good DB's from great ones is there footwork and breaking ability so ill definitely being working on that as well.

N2FL:  How do you feel about Redshirting?

N.B:  I'm open to redshirting, however if I feel like I can play and they feel like I can play as a freshmen then that's something that I would definitely want to do also.

N2FL:  Do you have a major in mind?

N.B:  I was thinking communications because I have two older brothers that are majoring in that so maybe, but we'll see.

N2FL:  What are your goals for your senior season?

N.B:  Some goals for my senior season is no question to win state, we have lost it the past two years and that horrible feeling is unlike anything I have ever experienced so to get back there and win it.

N2FL:  What is the craziest recruiting "pitch" you have heard so far?

N.B:  Craziest recruiting pitch was probably this coach telling me about all the good looking girls and mentioning something about how it was rated one of the biggest party schools in the nation.

N2FL:  Have you communicated with any prospective recruits about also signing with Texas?

N.B:  Yeah I have, I went down to Texas last weekend for a one day camp where they had all the 08 commits there. So I met all of them and exchanged numbers so I'll be talking with them a lot through this next year.

N2FL:  Who has been the biggest influence in your life?

N.B:  Biggest influence in my life has definitely been my dad. Him being a football coach I go to him for any advice about recruiting or football in general, also go to him for guidance on anything else.
