N2FL:  At what age did you start playing football?
 
B.M.:  when I was 8-years-old
 
N2FL:  Who was your first scholarship offer?
 
B.M.:  from Texas A&M
 
N2FL:  How many scholarship offers do you currently have?
 
B.M.:  I have 8
 
N2FL:  What was your favorite college team growing up?
 
B.M.:  USC
 
N2FL:  Have a favorite NFL Team?
 
B.M.:  Dallas Cowboys
 
N2FL:  Do you try and emulate any specific player?
 
B.M.:  Shawn Merriman
 
N2FL:  Any particular reason for the jersey number?
 
B.M.:   No, I just wanted a different number. I can't wear #48 - sophomore year
 
N2FL:  You committed to Oklahoma in Mid-April, why did you decide to end your recruitment so early?
 
B.M.:   I had already looked around a lot and saw a bunch of schools and I felt it was time.
 
N2FL:  What were some of the considerations when choosing your school?
 
B.M.:  Umm, playing time for sure and location (family). Also their defense is always ranked high.
 
N2FL:  Are there any schools who continue to recruit you despite your commitment?
 
B.M.:  I get a lot of letters still, but not a lot of calls.
 
N2FL:  Who was your lead recruiter at Oklahoma?
 
B.M.:  Coach (Brent) Venables
 
N2FL:  Despite your pledge to the Sooners, will you take any "official visits" anywhere else?
 
B.M.:  No, I am content with my decision.
 
N2FL:  Was there another school(s) in consideration before you pulled the trigger on the Sooners, and what was it about Oklahoma that ultimately sold you on them?
 
B.M.:  Yes there was. I liked Auburn, LSU and USC. The ultimate reason I went with Oklahoma was because their coaches and the way the players got along.
 
N2FL:  What positions are you being recruited to play?
 
B.M.:  Outside Linebacker and Defensive Back, maybe
 
N2FL:  Where does Oklahoma plan on playing you?
 
B.M.:  Outside Linebacker
 
N2FL:  What do you view as some of your playing strengths?
 
B.M.:  My play recognition and my ability to get to the ball.
 
N2FL:  What are some things you would like to work on between now and college?
 
B.M.:  Work on getting bigger.
 
N2FL:  How do you feel about Redshirting?
 
B.M.:  If it is necessary I will do it, but I don't want to be redshirted.
 
N2FL:  Do you have a major in mind?
 
B.M.:  Business
 
N2FL:  What are your goals for your senior season?
 
B.M.:  Get to the 3rd round of the playoffs and be named 1st team All-State.
 
N2FL:  What is the craziest recruiting "pitch" you have heard so far?
 
B.M.:  I haven't had any, really.
 
N2FL:  Have you communicated with any prospective recruits about attending Oklahoma with you?
