N2FL:  At what age did you start playing football?

D.S.:  I started playing football at the age of 8 for the Forest Hill Tigers in Cleveland, Ohio.

N2FL:  When and who was your first scholarship offer?

D.S.:  My first scholarship offer was from Michigan State. And I received it on January 19, a day after my birthday.

N2FL:  How many scholarship offers do you currently have?

D.S.:  I currently have two scholarship offers from Michigan State and Indiana.

N2FL:  What was your favorite college team growing up?

D.S.:  My favorite college team growing up was Michigan.

N2FL:  Have a favorite NFL Team?

D.S.:  My favorite NFL team is the Cleveland Browns.

N2FL:  Do you try and emulate any specific player?

D.S.:  Yes, I try to emulate Jerry Rice and Braylon Edwards.

N2FL:  You committed to Michigan State in late February, why did you decide to end the process so early?

D.S.:   Since the 9th grade I've been on road trips to many schools and out of all of them Michigan State fits me the best.

N2FL:  What were some of the considerations when choosing your school?

D.S.:  First it's the educational part of it, then it's the people like the coaches and such. I must feel comfortable at the school.

N2FL:  Are there any schools who continue to recruit you despite your commitment?

D.S.:  Yes, Michigan and Notre Dame.

N2FL:  Who was your lead recruiter at Michigan State?

D.S.:  Coach (Dan) Enos

N2FL:  Despite your pledge to the Spartans, will you take any "official visits" elsewhere?

D.S.:  I might. I don't know at this point in time right now.

N2FL:  Was there another school(s) in consideration before you pulled the trigger on the Spartans, and what was it about Michigan State that ultimately sold you on them?

D.S.:  Yes, Michigan but the Head coach left and Michigan State is a more family oriented school and I am more comfortable with that.

N2FL:  What do you view as some of your playing strengths?

D.S.:  Since I'm a big target my strengths are spread out. I can go deep, short game or handle the jump ball game.

N2FL:  What are some things you would like to work on between now and college?

D.S.:  My speed and strength because it's another level and they're stronger and faster.

N2FL:  How do you feel about Redshirting?

D.S.:  I really do not want to be, but understand it would put me in a better position.

N2FL:  Do you have a major in mind?

D.S.:  I plan on majoring in Business.

N2FL:  What are your goals for your senior season?

D.S.:  I plan to lead my team to a State title.

N2FL:  What is the craziest recruiting "pitch" you have heard so far?

D.S.:  It's kind of crazy but they said "I need you, I have no one else."

N2FL:  Have you communicated with any prospective recruits about attending Michigan State with you?

D.S.:  Yes

N2FL:  Who has been the biggest influence in your life?

D.S.  My family.
