N2FL: At what age did you start playing football?
G.B.: Ummm....believe it or not I started playing my first game of football in the 8th grade. I started on Varsity.
N2FL: When and who was your first scholarship offer?
G.B.: It was in December of last year and it was from Florida.
N2FL: How many scholarship offers do you currently have?
G.B.: lol - how far can you count, lol?
N2FL: What was your favorite college team growing up?
G.B.: Florida Gators
N2FL: Have a favorite NFL Team?
G.B.: I'm a die-hard Cowboy since I came out of the womb, lol.
N2FL: Do you try and emulate any specific player?
G.B.: No, I just try to make plays so one day kids will try and emulate me.
N2FL: Any particular reason for the jersey number?
G.B.: Yeah, my coach gave it to me, lol.
N2FL: You committed to Florida in late May, why did you decide to end your recruitment early?
G.B.: To tell you the truth, it wasn't early. God and I had been contemplating on this decision my whole life. I received the scholarship the lord gave me a sign so I followed his lead.
N2FL: What were some of the considerations when choosing your school?
G.B.: Whatever school I felt most comfortable at because when it comes down to it - All Division 1 programs are great but it's your four years of two-a-days, stadiums, running at 5:00am in the morning, etc. So you have to have a higher power to make such a significant decision upon your life.
N2FL: Are there any schools who continue to recruit you despite your commitment?
G.B.: Yes there are but it's too many to name, lol.
N2FL: Who was your lead recruiter at Florida?
G.B.: Coach Chuck Heater himself. He is responsible for recruiting the big bend area.
N2FL: Despite your pledge to the Gators, will you take any "official visits" anywhere else?
G.B.: Nope, my commitment is solid and I don't want to break the trust and bond that I and the entire Florida coaching staff have established together.
N2FL: Was there another school(s) in consideration before you pulled the trigger on the Gators, and what was it about Florida that ultimately sold you on them?
G.B.: To tell you the truth not really. From visiting the different coaches and programs it was Florida's staff that seemed most genuine, so I respected that. I already know that on the field their determination to win with their hard nosed coaching. I will be backed up with off the field care that is truly from the heart.
N2FL: What do you view as some of your playing strengths?
G.B.: Pass rushing, I love to get sacks.
N2FL: What are some things you would like to work on between now and college?
G.B.: Anything to help improve my game. It doesn't matter, as long as it's for improving I am down to work at it.
N2FL: What positions are you being recruited to play?
G.B.: Defensive Tackle
N2FL: Where does Florida plan on playing you?
G.B.: Defensive Tackle - three technique
N2FL: How do you feel about Redshirting?
G.B.: I don't want to be but if that's part of the plan, then so be it. I am not selfish at all.
N2FL: Do you have a major in mind?
G.B.: definitely - either Criminal Justice, Sports Medicine or (Sports) Therapy
N2FL: What are your goals for your senior season?
G.B.: To get my diploma and get my state ring.
N2FL: What is the craziest recruiting "pitch" you have heard so far?
G.B.: It's not really crazy but coach Urban (Meyer) let me know that I am a freak of nature.
N2FL: Have you communicated with any prospective recruits about attending Florida with you?
G.B.: I'm trying to get everybody to come to Florida, why not? It's a great program and I don't want my boys to miss out on winning this national championship.
N2FL: Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
G.B.: My mother; without her there would be no me and not only is that figurative but it's literal also, lol.
