| N2FL: At what age did you start playing football? |
| J.C.: I started playing street football at the age of four. I played organized football at the age of nine and then took years off, and started really playing at 13-years-old. |
| N2FL: What was your favorite college team growing up? |
| J.C.: I liked Fresno State and Auburn. |
| N2FL: Have a favorite NFL Team? |
| J.C.: 49ers - favorite team of all-time |
| N2FL: Do you try and emulate any specific player? |
| J.C.: Ed Reed from the Baltimore Ravens. We have the same body type and playing style. |
| N2FL: Any particular reason for the jersey number? |
| J.C.: At first it was just given to me because that's all they had. But after thinking about it, at the time I was 15-years-old and my Dads birthday is January 5th (15). |
| N2FL: Who was your first scholarship offer? |
| J.C.: No offers yet |
| N2FL: What are some of the considerations you have when deciding between schools? |
| J.C.: Location and Playing Time are the biggest keys, but I want an education most of all. |
| N2FL: Who are the schools currently on your list for consideration? Any leader(s)? |
| J.C.: Every Pac-10 school and also Colorado, Connecticut, Alabama, Rutgers, Nebraska, Utah, Fresno State and Boise State. Leaders: Fresno State, Colorado, Cal, Oklahoma, Wake Forest and Nebraska. |
| N2FL: Who is currently recruiting you the hardest? |
| J.C.: Fresno State, Utah, UCLA, Washington State and Arizona State |
| N2FL: What positions are you being recruited to play? |
| J.C.: Defensive Back and Wide Receiver |
| N2FL: What position would you prefer to play in college? |
| J.C.: Defensive Back (Safety) |
| N2FL: Have you thought about who you might want to "officially visit"? |
| J.C.: Fresno State, Colorado, Oregon State, North Carolina and Alabama |
| N2FL: What do you feel are some of your playing strengths? |
| J.C.: covering a zone and reading the quarterback |
| N2FL: What are some things you would like to work on between now and college? |
| J.C.: getting more bulk weight and my one-on-one coverage |
| N2FL: How do you feel about Redshirting? |
| J.C.: It is a good thing for some athletes and others may not need it. |
| N2FL: Do you have a major in mind? |
| J.C.: Culinary Arts |
| N2FL: What are your goals for your senior season? |
| J.C.: To get to the state title game and receive a full athletic scholarship. |

| J.C.: none |
| N2FL: Do you have a time frame as to when you would like to commit? |
| J.C.: No I do not. |

| J.C.: My Family of course, but outside of them: my good friend R.J. Powell and my best friend Max Hooper and his family. |
