N2FL:  At what age did you start playing football?

J.J.:  Around 8-years-old

N2FL:  What was your favorite college team growing up?

J.J.:  The Florida Gators

N2FL:  Have a favorite NFL Team?

J.J.:  Yeah, I actually have two: The Detroit Lions and The Seattle Seahawks.

N2FL:  Do you try and emulate any specific player?

J.J.:  Yeah, Brian Dawkins

N2FL:  Any particular reason for the jersey number?

J.J.:  Well actually what I did was; I took my brothers number 50 and subtracted it from my dads number when he was in the NFL and got #20.

N2FL:  Who was your first scholarship offer?

J.J.:  Florida Atlantic University

N2FL:  How many scholarship offers do you currently have?

J.J.:  I have 12

N2FL:  Is there a school that hasn't offered you that you would like to see do so?

J.J.:  Yes, Florida

N2FL:  What are some of the considerations you have when deciding between schools?

J.J.:  I really don't care about location. The playing time is up to me and how I perform in practice. I want the system to be the same throughout my years in college.

N2FL:  Who are the schools currently on your list for consideration? Any leader(s)?

J.J.:  LSU, Florida Atlantic, Nebraska, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and Michigan State - the leader is LSU right now.

N2FL:  Who is currently recruiting you the hardest?

J.J.:  FAU and Nebraska

N2FL:  Being such a versatile player, which positions are you being recruited to play?

J.J.:  Well, the smaller schools that offered me are recruiting me for offense also.

N2FL:  What position would you prefer to play?

J.J.:  Safety

N2FL:  Have you thought about who you might want to "officially visit"?

J.J.:  Well I want to visit LSU, Nebraska, Indiana, Illinois and Michigan State.

N2FL:  What do you feel are some of your playing strengths?

J.J.:  My awareness on the field and I can make plays.

N2FL:  What are some things you would like to work on between now and college?

J.J.:  my speed and explosion

N2FL:  How do you feel about Redshirting?

J.J.:  I don't mind being redshirted. It would be nice to get playing time as a freshman, but if it doesn't happen then I wouldn't mind redshirting. It gives me an extra year to get better.

N2FL:  Do you have a major in mind?

J.J.:  Yeah - Engineering, Accounting or Business

N2FL:  What are your goals for your senior season?

J.J.:  I want to get at least 5 interceptions and break 100 tackles. And at least 10 touchdowns on offense, hopefully.

N2FL:  What is the craziest recruiting "pitch" you have heard so far?

J.J.:  ha-ha...that "you could come in and start both ways for us your first year."

N2FL:  Do you have a time frame as to when you would like to commit?

J.J.:  Nah not really, hopefully before the season starts.

N2FL:  Have you communicated with any prospective recruits about attending the same school?

J.J.:  no

N2FL:  Who has been the biggest influence in your life?

J.J.:  My mother and father
