N2FL:  At what age did you start playing football?

K.S.:  When I was around twelve years old, since I could not play Pop Warner because I was too big.

N2FL:  What was your favorite college team growing up?

K.S.:  When I was growing up, all I knew was the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I have gone to every home game for most of my life.

N2FL:  Have a favorite NFL Team?

K.S.:  My favorite NFL Team would most likely be the Oakland Raiders because I love their fans. My uncle is also a Raiders fan too so I kind of grew up with my uncle always cheering for Oakland and giving me T-shirts.

N2FL:  Do you try and emulate any specific player?

K.S.:  Well I always try to play as hard as Olin Kreutz who is an alumni of my school (Saint Louis School, Hawaii). He now plays for the Chicago Bears.

N2FL:  Any particular reason for the jersey number?

K.S.:  I don't have any reason for the jersey. It (#74) was the only one left as a choice from when I was a rookie sophomore, so I chose to stick with it.

N2FL:  When and who was your first scholarship offer?

K.S.:  My first scholarship offer was from the University of Utah who verbally offered me back when I was attending their camp after my freshman year.

N2FL:  How many scholarship offers do you currently have?

K.S.:  Currently I have two offers, one is Utah and the other is from UNLV.

N2FL:  Is there a school that hasn't offered you that you would like to see do so?

K.S.:  The schools that I am hoping to be offered by are the Universities of Oregon and Washington.

N2FL:  What are some of the considerations you have when deciding between schools?

K.S.:  The things that I am looking at is whether or not I may have playing time in my first year and also I would like to have a school with a nice cool climate. I am also looking at the education opportunities that are available at the institution.

N2FL:  Who are the schools currently on your list for consideration? Any leader(s)?

K.S.:  At the moment my top schools for consideration, which is rather difficult, would be Oregon, Washington, UCLA, UNLV, Utah and Michigan.

N2FL:  Who is currently recruiting you the hardest?

K.S.:  Right now it would be the University of Washington.

N2FL:  Which Offensive Line positions are you being recruited to play?

K.S.:  I am being recruited as an Offensive Guard.

N2FL:  What position would you prefer to play?

K.S.:  As long as it is on the Offensive Line and I am capable of having playing time, I would be happy.

N2FL:  Have you thought about who you might want to "officially visit"?

K.S.:  If possible, I would like to have an official visit with Oregon, Washington, Utah, UNLV and UCLA.

N2FL:  What do you feel are some of your playing strengths?

K.S.:  I believe that my strengths would be my foot work and my ability to hand replace, along with my long reach.

N2FL:  What are some things you would like to work on between now and college?

K.S.:  I would like to work more on core power to have a more explosive get off from the line of scrimmage.

N2FL:  How do you feel about Redshirting?

K.S.:  I really would not like to redshirt. Only if I was injured, then I would think about redshirting. Other than that, I do not like it.

K.S.:  The major that I know that I will have would be Political Science.

K.S.:  I do not recall of any at the moment.

N2FL:  Do you have a time frame as to when you would like to commit?

K.S.:  I hope to make my choice by mid-football season, but we will see what happens.

N2FL:  Have you communicated with any prospective recruits about attending the same school?

K.S.:  I have not spoken to anyone else about going to the same school and will not base my decision on that.

N2FL:  Who has been the biggest influence in your life?

K.S.:  The biggest influence in my life would be my family. They have supported me throughout the hardships that I have had to endure over these past couple of years.
